An event with
a face of its own
Event branding in Dubai: a name, mark and visual system for a launch, conference, festival or gala that works on a ticket, a stage and a phone screen.
Guests remember an event by how it looked. The identity is what they are remembering.
We design identities for events: the name if it needs one, the mark, type, colour, motion and the rules that let a production team, a printer and a social editor all make it look the same. A one-night launch gets a sharp, focused kit; a conference or festival that returns every year gets a system built to change edition by edition without starting again.
For events that need to be recognised, not just attended.
Conferences and summits building an audience year on year, festivals and cultural programmes, product launches that deserve their own look, and galas and award nights where the room is the brand. Sometimes the event is new; sometimes it has run for years with a different look every time.
- Every edition of your event has looked different
- Sponsors and speakers keep sending slides that do not match
- The production team is waiting on artwork that does not exist yet
- The Arabic version is always the last thing made
What an event branding engagement covers
Name and positioning
What the event is called and what it promises, written so a guest understands why it is worth their evening.
Mark and visual system
Logo, type, colour, graphic devices and motion, designed in Arabic and English, sized for everything from a lanyard to an LED wall.
Venue and stage artwork
Stage screens, step-and-repeat, wayfinding, badges and signage artwork, supplied to your production team print-ready and to spec.
Guidelines and templates
A short guide and working templates for speakers’ slides, sponsor placements and social posts, so partners apply it correctly.
How we work
Brief
The event, the audience, the parent brand and the venue. We see the space or its plans early.
Directions
Two or three routes shown on a ticket, a stage and a story, one chosen and refined.
System
The full kit: mark, type, colour, motion, Arabic and English, and the rules behind it.
Apply
Every artwork the venue and production need, checked against their specs before it goes to print.
What we believe about event identities
Design for the room, not the slide
An event identity is seen on an LED wall from thirty metres and on a badge from thirty centimetres. We test it at both before we call it done.
Make it easy to apply under pressure
The week before an event is no time for interpretation. Clear rules and ready templates are what keep it consistent when everyone is busy.
Build for the next edition
A recurring event should be recognisable every year while each edition feels new. We design the constant and the variable separately.
What you walk away with
- An identity guests recognise across every touchpoint
- Bilingual artwork that reads as one design
- Print-ready files your production team can use as supplied
- Templates that keep sponsors and speakers on brand
- A system that can carry the next edition
Questions we are asked about event branding
How long before the event do we need the identity?
Ideally ten weeks or more. Invitations and the website are made from it, and venue artwork often has print and build deadlines two or three weeks before the date.
Should the event follow our company brand?
It depends on what the event needs to do. A product launch usually sits close to the parent brand; a conference or festival meant to build its own audience often needs its own identity, endorsed by yours. We recommend one at the brief.
What affects the cost?
Whether it needs a name, how many artworks the venue needs, motion for screens, and whether the system has to last several editions. A one-off evening kit is a smaller engagement than a recurring conference brand.
Do you design in Arabic?
Yes. The mark, type pairing and layouts are designed in both scripts from the first sketch, so neither one is the afterthought.
What do you need from us?
The event brief, your brand guidelines, venue plans and production specs as soon as they exist, sponsor logos and one decision-maker for the reviews.
